Is Friday brunch still a thing in Dubai?
Not in the way it used to be. Since the UAE moved its weekend to Saturday and Sunday in 2022, the classic lunchtime blowout has shifted to Saturday. Fridays now tend to host evening brunches that start around 8pm, which suits anyone finishing work first.
Our list has one Friday night option and four Saturday afternoons.
5 best weekend brunches in Dubai this winter
1. Bold Night Brunch at BA – Boldly Asian, Fairmont The Palm
When: Fridays, 8pm to 11pm
Area: Palm Jumeirah
Price: AED 250 soft, AED 395 house, AED 495 platinum
This is the pick if you want your weekend to start on Friday night. You get a five-course Asian menu, with the packages split by drinks rather than food. The soft package includes mocktails and teatails, so it works well for non-drinkers too.
Fairmont asks for a non-refundable AED 90 deposit per adult, and you lose it if you cancel within 48 hours.
Getting there: There is no metro on the Palm, so taxi is easiest.
2. The Great Garden Brunch, Fairmont The Palm
When: Saturdays, 1pm to 4.30pm
Area: Palm Jumeirah
Price: AED 350 soft, AED 450 alcohol, AED 550 bubbly; children AED 50 (ages 3 to 5) and AED 150 (ages 6 to 12)
Fairmont launched this one in October for the outdoor season. Five of the hotel’s kitchens cook for it: Flow Kitchen, BA – Boldly Asian, Frevo, Little Miss India and Seagrill Bistro, so you can move from Indian curries to Asian plates to seafood in one sitting.
There is a live singer, a DJ, table-side magic and dedicated activities for kids, which makes it one of the best family options on this list.
3. Brunch Without Borders, Dukes The Palm
When: Saturdays, 1pm to 4pm
Area: Palm Jumeirah
Price: AED 320 soft, AED 600 house, AED 650 bubbly; kids package AED 95
Held at the Great British Restaurant, this is the best-value soft-drinks package of our Saturday picks. Dukes says the prices already include taxes and service charge, so what you see is what you pay.
The kids package is also the cheapest here, at AED 95.
4. Jou Jou Saturday Brunch, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach
When: Saturdays, 1pm to 4pm
Area: Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah 2
Price: AED 485 soft, AED 715 house, AED 850 champagne; children aged 3 to 11 AED 240
The most polished brunch on the list, back since Saturday 5 September 2026. Expect a Mediterranean-leaning buffet with live carving stations, where chefs cook fish and meat to order, plus pastas and risottos brought to the table to share.
Leave room for dessert: the sweet station is run by the resort’s senior executive pastry chef, Nicolas Lambert. A live duo plays through the afternoon.
Getting there: No metro nearby; taxi is easiest.
5. Brunch Voyage 2.0 at Brasserie 2.0, Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa
When: Saturdays, 1.30pm to 4.30pm
Area: Dubai Marina beachfront
Price: AED 395 soft, AED 545 sparkling, AED 795 champagne; children AED 225
The most theatrical option, built around a travel theme with live acts, acrobatics and costumed performers moving between tables.
The hotel’s listing mentions 20% off if you book and pay by Thursday, but the same page also says no discounts apply to the packages, so ask when you book. Full prepayment is needed to secure a table, and the listing runs until 31 December 2026.
Getting there: The Dubai Tram runs along this stretch and links to the Red Line at Sobha Realty and DMCC stations.

Tips for booking a Dubai brunch
- Book early in the week. Popular Saturday brunches can fill up in peak season.
- Read the cancellation terms. Deposits and prepayments are common.
- Plan your ride home. If you choose an alcohol package, use a taxi or ride-hailing app. Dubai has zero tolerance for drink driving.
- Check the dress code. Smart casual is the safe default.
